Kayak Rentals
Steele Creek Marina offers kayak rental on Kerr Lake. Come and enjoy the lake up close and personal.
Our Kayak’s are ready now! Please call us for reservations and info on availability for first come first serve basis.
We have Solo (one person) and Tandem (two people) Kayaks. Rentals are by the day or by the week.
Kayak Rental Information
- $20/hr Solo kayak
- $30/hr Tandem kayak
- $50/full day Solo kayak
- $60/full day Tandem kayak
Full Day Pass is Wednesday – Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Sunday is 10am to 3pm. Renters have to sign a release of liability and assumption of risk agreement and sign the rules and regulations forms before rental.
No one under 18 allowed in the kayaks. Kayaks must remain on Kerr Lake and Steele Creek Marina.
Kayaks may not be used on the lake before dawn and not after dusk. Kayaks must be returned to Steele Creek Marina by 4 pm Wednesday through Saturday and by 3 pm on Sunday. If the kayak is not returned on time or is damaged, you will be charged $600 on your credit card.
Personal flotation devices required at all times.

We are located 12 miles from Henderson, I85 exit 214; Steele Creek Marina’s gate entrance is located just off Highway 39 N at the end of Townsville Landing Road, Townsville NC 27584. Follow our signs located in Townsville.
